let's do things orderly and chronologically. :D
countdown opens with arashi in neon yellow clothes that would probably damage your eyesight. but they make up for it by being absolutely gorgeous so all is good. caps are thumbnailed for your viewing pleasure (and so they don't break my layout drastically ahahaha) so click on "view image" for larger views, or if you want, all the caps can be seen here. :)



like i said, gorgeous. arashi performs STEP AND GO. and i took several caps of them doing so because. well, you never need a reason to cap boys in questionable costumes.



for the record, i like what jun is wearing. idk, being in this fandom for some time has damaged what few fashion sense i have, but i really like it. also, sho's vest with the shoe lace thing going on? i love that one too.

jun was so hyper during this i was giddy while watching him. :3 they introduce NEWS next and NEWS come down from this stairs thingy. i am still weird about massu's hair. i think years of seeing him in the same haristyle has made me wary of the change he made. i miss his old hair. ;_; behind NEWS is Kanjani8. i'm glad that they saved ryo the trouble of shuffling back and forth the entrance now, so he just stayed and waited for K8. 8DDD that explosion of leopard print and purple fur is yasu. haha.



and lalalala KAT-TUN comes after Kanjani8. led by jin and kame 8D idk, jin is sporting some weird mussed up hair that i thought was uhm. inappropriate. but i learned to tolerate it because 1) its jin and 2) there is no two. number 1 is reason enough lol.



let me mention now that i LOVE how spazzy childlike ueda is. he is all smiles and he keeps tripping over everything i adore this side of ueda skdjbasd. and here, more jun-pretty because bias or not, he looked really good that night. :DD





really. the only thing that i don't like in this year's countdown is shoon's absence. :( but kitayamaaaa. tottsu. i have a huge crush on tottsu's smile, ok. also i find kitayama incredibly adorable. i think they aren't minors anymore but should they are i will retract those sentences and restate them when they're of legal age. also, shounentai's nishikiori? uhm i apologize, i am a total loser at sempais and i only know higashiyama by face. ;_; enlighten me who that man is because i like him and the way he dances. lol
